Hippie Dash Returns to Safety Harbor May 14!

The Safety Harbor waterfront will be teeming with good vibrations when Hippie Dash returns on Saturday, May 14. The 6th Annual Hippie Dash, presented by Goodwill Industries-Suncoast and USI, includes a 10K and a 5K run, the new 15K “Keep on Truckin’ Challenge,” a Flower Child Fun Run for little hippies, and a one-mile Walk, Woof & Roll for walkers, dogs and strollers.

Participants will come together at the Safety Harbor Marina, 110 Veterans Memorial Lane, to enjoy music from the ’60s, free munchies and beer, as well as free face-painting and yoga. Dozens of vintage VWs will also be on display. Everyone is encouraged to wear their hippie best for a chance to win prizes for Best Dressed Grown-Up Hippie and Best Dressed Flower Child. Those in the Walk, Woof & Roll can dress up their dogs for a chance at a pooch prize too!
High-achieving hippies will be stoked to know the 10K and 5K runs are chip-timed events on certified courses. All participants will receive a fab T-shirt and outa-sight medal. Award medals will be given to the first-, second-, and third-place finishers in each age group of the 10K and 5K. There’s even a “run from home” option for runners who can only be there in spirit.
