Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Inc. is a St. Petersburg, FL-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to transform lives through lifelong learning and the power of work, while also enhancing our communities’ environmental resources.
We are committed to improving our community through a variety of programs focused on advancing childhood literacy, supporting individuals with disabilities, reducing recidivism, providing affordable housing, promoting sustainability, and more.
To support our mission, we operate 20 thrift stores and two outlet stores, offering both donated and new merchandise.
Goodwill-Suncoast offers a wide range of human services, including workforce development and employment programs for individuals facing various barriers to employment, as well as affordable housing for seniors and people with disabilities. The organization serves residents across 10 Florida counties: Pinellas, Hillsborough, Polk, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Marion, Levy, Sumter, and Highlands.
Goodwill Industries and Goodwill-Suncoast are proud to be recognized by GuideStar with its Platinum Seal of Transparency—the organization’s highest rating for nonprofits.
On average, 85% to 90% of Goodwill-Suncoast’s operating budget is dedicated directly to programs and services.
