Florida Goodwills Pledge to Assist Ukrainian Refugees
Goodwill to provide direct assistance and monetary aid

Florida Goodwills are working together to offer support and assistance to Ukrainian refugees. Goodwill stores will provide needed items to people who have fled to our state from war-torn Ukraine. Florida Goodwills will also collect monetary donations for the Ukrain relief effort.

Those needing assistance are invited to come to a Goodwill store where a manager will give them a certificate they can use to purchase needed clothing and household goods. This will accord them the dignity of choosing the items they need.

Goodwill Job Connection centers will also help those fleeing the Ukraine by referring them to resources for housing, food assistance, and other services, as well as helping them obtain employment.

To complement this assistance, Goodwill is inviting shoppers to round up their purchases during April to support Ukrainian relief efforts. Donations from Goodwill’s Round Up program usually go to support the agency’s employment services, but this special Round Up collection will be donated to the International Red Cross to assist Ukrainians who have fled their country.

Cashiers at Goodwill stores will also accept donations for Ukrainian refugees from people who don’t make purchases, with these funds being forwarded to the Red Cross.
