Feb. 15 Job Fair Planned for New Goodwill Store and Distribution Center in Tampa

Goodwill recruiting for management, sales, processing, and warehouse positions

TAMPA, FLA. – Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Inc. is having a job fair on Thursday, Feb. 15 to fill more than 35 positions at the new Goodwill retail store and distribution center opening soon at 1407 S. U.S. Hwy 301 in Tampa. The distribution center will open in February and the Goodwill store is expected to open by early April.

Goodwill is hiring retail management staff as well as sales and donations processing associates and dock workers. At least 36 positions are available.

The Job Fair will be at the Career Source building at 9350 Bay Plaza Blvd., Tampa, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Feb. 15.

Hiring managers will be on site during the job fair to interview applicants. Job seekers are encouraged to apply online at https://goodwill-suncoast.org/careers/  before attending the job fair, but walk-ins are welcome. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

The new store is Goodwill-Suncoast’s 20th retail store and its first new store in Hillsborough County since 2002. The 12,000-square-foot retail space will be stocked with donated clothing, household items, and furniture, as well as a variety of brand-new products. A drive-through donation lane on the south side of the building will make it easy to drop off donations.

The 200,000-square-foot distribution center will house transportation and logistical operations for Goodwill-Suncoast, which are relocating from the headquarters at 10596 Gandy Boulevard in St. Petersburg.
