Survey Says…Best Accidental Halloween Costume Ever!

Happy Happy Fall, lovely thrift hunters! I’ve been away for a while, taking a much needed social media break, but I’m back! I can’t wait to show you my last minute, accidental Halloween outfit!

I wanted to dress up as Woody from Toy Story, although I’ve never paid much attention to the movie. I’ve reluctantly watched it because I sometimes babysit and thought it’d be fun to dress up as that character. But, finding a last-minute Woody costume wasn’t in my thrifting future!

I somehow stumbled on a suit set at the men’s section of Goodwill, and it dawned on me I could pull it off by dressing as Steve Harvey. Lol!

The striped suit set I found was a total of $40.00.

Next I found a large men’s vest for $4.18 (I adjusted the back with a safety pin so I could fit in into it), and a tie for $3.98.

Next I grabbed a new handkerchief for just $1.29.

This photo was my inspiration, and I think I pretty much nailed it!

I couldn’t find any black shoes that would fit from the men’s section, so I improvised and paired the suit with my platforms.

I think the only missing element here is my unshaven head, but I’m only willing to go so far for this look! :)

I don’t think the look is too bad for a last minute Halloween outfit! What do you think?

Happy Halloween, enjoy your candies!
