May 6-9 event celebrates Goodwill Industries Week

ST PETERSBURG, FLA. – Goodwill’s Job Connection Center is hosting a recruitment event May 6-9 offering job seeking tools and tips as well as the opportunity to interview with multiple employers.

The event will be at the Job Connection Center inside the Goodwill store at 2550 34th Street N., St. Petersburg. Scheduled activities follow.

Monday, May 6 – 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Resume reviews by community workforce professionals
Mini workshops on mastering the interview and creating a powerful resume
Online interviews and meet-and-greet with Goodwill Temporary Staffing personnel

Tuesday, May 7 – 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Face-to-face interviews with Army and Air Force Exchange Service, Bluegreen Vacations, Boley Operations, ChildCare Careers, PAR and PEMHS (Personal Enrichment Mental Health Services)

Wednesday, May 8 – 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Interviews with MacDill Civilian Personnel Flight, Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections, Randstad and Waffle House

Thursday, May 9 – 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Interviews with Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Inspired Staffing, Performance Clean and Primeflight Aviation Service

Job seekers may participate one day or multiple days and are encouraged to pre-register. To register, visit www.goodwill-suncoast.org/community-job-fair and complete the brief form. Everyone who registers in advance will have a chance to win raffle prizes.

This is one of dozens of recruitment events being hosted by Goodwill agencies across the nation during Goodwill Industries Week, May 5-11. Every year during the first full week of May, Goodwill agencies across the United States and Canada celebrate the power of work through local employment events.
