The Goodwill-Suncoast JET Program (Job, Education, Training) offers the opportunity for individuals of all abilities, high school age and older, to prepare for employment and obtain work experience through paid on-the-job training.
Students can participate in the JET program after school or during the summer.
JET offers workforce credentialing with on-the-job training, allowing participants to build skill sets, practice their skills in a real work environment and earn marketable certifications in: Retail Industry Fundamentals; Lift Truck Operator; Food Handler’s Certificate; Hospitality – Guest Services and position-specific certifications (Front Desk Representative, Maintenance Professional and Guestroom Attendant). This program is currently offered in Marion and Citrus counties.
JET is operated and managed by Goodwill-Suncoast in partnership with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Marion and Pinellas County Schools, and host sites.
