Goodwill’s Freedom Village I is located in Pinellas Park with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The 89-unit apartment building is an architecturally barrier-free facility for people with limited incomes who have disabilities or are at least 62 years old.
Freedom Village I offers one- and two-bedroom apartments. The facility features a landscaped courtyard, covered patio for cookouts and socializing and a community room.
In addition, the Centers offer a friendly atmosphere to get answers regarding local services and resources, such as help with food stamps, where to find childcare, transportation and training.
Rent subsidy is provided from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on a scale that is based on expenses and income. Freedom Village I gross income limits are $40,150 for 1 person or $45,850 for 2 people. The HUD formula determines how much rent residents pay.
