 St. Petersburg-based Goodwill Industries-Suncoast operates 15 thrift stores and three outlet stores that sell donated and new merchandise. This successful retail operation helps support Goodwill-Suncoast's many human services, including workforce development and employment programs as well as housing for the elderly and people with disabilities. The organization serves the people of 10 counties – Pinellas, Hillsborough, Polk, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Marion, Levy, Sumter and Highlands.Goodwill Industries is Nationally Recognized Wall Street Journal's Smart Money magazine, Fortune and Worth magazines consistently rank Goodwill among the best charities to support, based on the percentage of earned revenue channeled to client programs. Locally, 88.4% of Goodwill-Suncoast's operating budget is devoted to our programs and services. Goodwill-Suncoast's Achievements 15,212 people found jobs with the help of Goodwill-Suncoast last year, and we served 77,338 people in our region.
