How to Donate

Donating a vehicle to Goodwill Industries is a donor-friendly process. Just contact our Donations Department toll-free at 1-866-604-6634 to make arrangements.

To donate to Goodwill the vehicle must be titled and registered in your name, with no liens. We will accept vehicles with proper lien releases from financial institutions.

Before calling 1-866-604-6634, please have the vehicle title in front of you because it contains all the pertinent information. We will also need to know the current mileage of the vehicle.

We offer free pickup Monday through Friday in the Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough County area, if necessary. Please remember to remove the license tags and all personal items from the vehicle before it is donated.

You will receive a donation receipt via USPS within five business days after signing the title over to Goodwill. Please take a copy of the donation receipt, your license tags and registration to DMV as soon as possible to de-register the car. Once it is de-registered, call your insurance company to cancel coverage (they might want a copy of the donation receipt, too).
